Tennis Tournament – A Fun Day

What a great day for tennis! Saturday, March 10, was the Round Robin Tennis Tournament held at the new Camden Tennis Center! Not only was it the first annual for FFTS, but it was also the first tournament at the facility! Players had a good time playing, see old friends, and meeting new people. Thanks to Chik Fil A, Starbucks, and Julie Smith for providing awesome goodies, and to Camden Tennis Center for organizing the details.

Spring Garden Comes to Life:

Thank you to Camden First Baptist Church Bible Study for changing out winter veggies and planting spring goodies! Herbs, flowers, tomatoes, and more are in the ground and growing strong. Thank you ladies for planning and planting!

Bethune Pantry Going Strong

Bethune Food Pantry is always to get that call “We have food for you!”. Because of overwhelming donations of pantry foods to FFTS, we are able to share with our neighbors to the north so that they may stock their shelves and open once a month for residents there. Keep those donations coming and thank you!!!

FFTS Now the County’s Special Needs Emergency Shelter

Our handicapped-accessible building was originally built to be able to accommodate a large number of people. In addition, there is a generator and a DHEC approved kitchen. All these items and more are necessary to provide servicse to Special Needs folks in the county if there is a disaster. FFTS has worked carefully with the Kershaw County Emergency Management folks as well as DHEC to ensure the safety of all that come to our doors if a crisis occurs.
