Food for the Soul relies heavily upon volunteers to operate the ministry. Food is prepared and served on a daily basis. The pantries are stocked and organized. Greeters are the first people visitors meet when they enter. They also collect lunch tickets, maintain daily lunch and laundry counts. Appointments are made for the Shelter manager. There is always a need for transportation to pick up donated goods from community businesses. Clerical support is always welcome.
Food for the Soul maintains a network of churches that provide regular volunteer support to our meals program on a rotating basis In addition, school groups, civic clubs and community agencies are always welcome to serve in some capacity.
